Bookstore and Enlightenment Center

We started out as a small metaphysical bookstore that opened on Stuyvesant Avenue in 1993, the store was moved to Ridge Road after a few years and expanded to the Enlightenment Center that we are today.  Our center’s mission is to help individuals increase their power of positive thinking and find their higher selves through books, workshops and meditation in a peaceful, supportive environment.

Sara Spano, B.Msc.

Sara is the Owner/Founder of Mystical World, Bookstore and Enlightenment Center. She holds a Bachelor in Metaphysics and is an ordained Metaphysical Minister and an associate member of the International Metaphysical Ministry. She has been a spiritual healer and counselor for over 15 years.

Yvette McGuire, B.Msc.

Yvette is the Store Mgr. and Center Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor of Metaphysical Science degree and is an ordained Metaphysical Minister and an associate member of the International Metaphysical Ministry as well as a Shamaness and spiritual counselor.

Joanne Crandall

Joanne has been a volunteer at Mystical World since we opened in 1993.  She’s a high spirited person with a heart of gold.  Always ready to offer encouragement and support.
